Free hashtag formatter and duplicate remover
Clean a list of hashtags, keep the spelling you prefer, and add your own word boundaries for readable PascalCase. Copy a tidy result without signing in.
Your input stays in this tab. This tool does not send it to a server, save it, recommend new tags or estimate reach. Copy your result before leaving.
Start with your tags
Separate tags with spaces, new lines, hash signs or punctuation. Underscores are kept. Maximum 200 tokens and 20,000 UTF-16 code units.
The first occurrence wins. Unicode lowercase comparison keeps accents; no language-specific case matching.

A tidy list, with decisions you can see
Paste #HomeCare, #homecare; #smallbusiness. The default case-insensitive policy keeps #HomeCare #smallbusiness: the first occurrence supplies the display spelling. Case-sensitive mode keeps both #HomeCare and #homecare.
To suggest #SmallBusiness, enter small business in that tag’s word-boundary field. We capitalize the first character of each word and preserve the remaining capitals. We do not guess how to split words, translate tags or add new tags. Restore the original spelling in the field to undo a suggestion. Duplicates are also removed from the final formatted result.
What counts as a separator?
Whitespace, hash signs and Unicode punctuation separate tags; underscores stay inside a tag. For example, #home-care becomes #home #care, while #home_care stays together. Accepted tokens contain Unicode letters, combining marks, numbers and underscores, starting with a letter, number or underscore. Emoji, symbols and invisible format characters cause that token to be skipped and shown for review. Text is treated as text, never as HTML.
This is a formatting policy, not a universal platform validator. Unicode is normalized to NFC, and case-insensitive comparison uses Unicode lowercase without removing accents or applying language-specific matching. Check your destination’s current rules before publishing. The local limit is 20,000 UTF-16 code units and 200 non-empty input tokens, including duplicates and skipped tokens; it is not a provider limit.
Readable multiword tags can make word boundaries easier to follow, but formatting does not guarantee reach or accessibility for every reader. Need a place for drafts and review?
